I'm an associate professor of industrial engineering at Guangdong University of Technology. I've been a consultant and lecturer on Lean manufacturing and Industrial Engineering for almost 40 years.
I live in Shenzhen, a southern city in Guangdong province adjacent to Hong Kong, with my wife and daughter. My wife is a vocal teacher, and my daughter is a high-school student.
My Mandarin is quite standard (Mandarin Proficiency Certificate, Level 2, Grade A). I've been engaged in language exchange for over two years with an American. I can communicate in English without difficulties, but I still make mistakes every now and then because my English is entirely self-taught.

Hi, I'm Noemi. I'm a university student and my major is translation and interpreting. My chosen language is Mandarin, which is why I'd like to find native friends who can help me practice by talking with me in Chinese.
I have an Oxford proficiency certificate, therefore I can help with both Italian and English, as it is my second language and I'm qualified for teaching.
I've also been studying Spanish and I can understand most of it, but since I haven't had the chance to practice it on the daily, I am not fluent for what concerns conversation and I'd like to fix this.
I have also started studying Japanese, but since I've been studying it on my own, I'd like to find friends who can help me learn and practice.
Aside from, of course learning languages, I love listening to any sort of music ( I love tons of artists! ), reading, writing and doing makeup and putting together cute outfits. I hope we can be friends ^_^
