I am - Australian Born Chinese
I live in Brisbane Australia.
I want to learn to become conversational competent in mandarin.
I want to focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing (in that order if possible)
I can speak basic Cantonese - I would also like to improve that also but I prioritise learning Mandarin first.
My hobbies are photography, travelling and technology
Something interesting: I am travelling to China in December for a holiday, and I want to practice my mandarin so that I can survive and enjoy my experience.
I am friendly, patient and comfortable to be around.
I want to find people within my time zone (Australian Eastern Time) and practice around my evening pm.
I would like to do about 1 hour per session.
This is not a dating site - so no flirting.
I'm serious about my learning, but I also want to make it fun and enjoyable at the same time.
I have no issue speaking to someone younger (less than 30) my experience has proven to me that younger people are less reliable. Please, no flirting or dirty business I don't want to waste my time with that.

Chinese: I currently have HSK 4 level, but would like to just meet more people

Persian: I have a shakey A2 level and an amazing tutor, but would love to meet more people from Iran.
Arabic: I have an A1 level and i am learning MSA right now, but eventually I would like to learn a Gulf dialect, but i would enjoy talking to any speaker.
Slovene: My sister and I split an online course fee, so I am currently working through that, but would love to meet some people. I'm visiting Slovenia for the first time this summer, so maybe we could meet up in person.
Spanish: I'm mainly learning this for work-related reasons, and also for travelling because I'd like to go to Latin America sometime soon. I also want to broaden my perspectives and learn more about the people who live there.
