こんにちは みなさん! I'm a Filipino-Chinese uni student and it's my passion to learn about the different cultures and languages of other countries. 十月に日本へ行きます! I will be visiting Osaka this October 2017 and was hoping to make a friend before coming there. I think I'm pretty fluent in English although my native language is really Filipino. I love photography, anime, manga, movies, music, traveling and etc hahaha. If you want someone to practice English with then please do not hesitate to contact me :) どうぞ よろしく お願いします!

Hi, I'm Marie. Japanese I'm a native Tagalog speaker and I speak English as a second language. I am looking for someone who can help me learn Japanese and I would be happy to help you learn Tagalog, English, or both. I particularly need help in reading Kanji and catching up with native speakers' natural speaking pace, so it would be great if you don't mind focusing on those. English I speak English as a second language, but my pronunciation can be inconsistent and I tend to grope for words when I get nervous, so I would like to improve those. If you are a native English speaker and would like to learn Tagalog, please feel free to send me a message. Chinese I'm interested in learning Chinese, but I know absolutely nothing about it except for casual greetings. I also have a hard time pronouncing words the way Chinese speakers do, but if you have a lottttt of extra patience and don't mind teaching a complete beginner, I would be happy to practice Tagalog, English, or both with you if you are interested. Interests: Languages, culture, travel (haven't really been to other countries, though), photography (mainly landscape) history, science (mostly neuroscience and anatomy), technology (computer science, biotech, A.I), movies (action, suspense, comedy, horror) music (alternative, rock, J-Rock, instrumental), animation, manga (same genres as movies). Disclaimer: I'm not a professional language teacher and I don't have a background in linguistics or a similar discipline either.
