Am Ali from Uganda, currently a university student offering a bachelor's degree in engineering in electronics and computer engineering ,am an individual who likes making friends, traveling, learning new languages for the love of cultural exchange and also cherish those with innovative ideas. Right now I understand over 7 languages including English , kiswahili , little Chinese among other African languages. My name is Jackie, I just finished my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering(BSEET).
I'm a witty, thoughtful, comedic genius; who loves to learn. I've been studying Chinese for about 7 years now and I've still got a long way to go. I'm a quick learner so the language isn't hard for me, however, I still need an effective study buddy who can help me out. I want to learn these three languages specifically because of my friends and my environment. I love to think, play video games, Design with FPGAs and go for meditation walks at night. I love to watch people in their everyday lives. Always trying the make the best of things, even when times get bad. I also love to see people laugh and smile, so that's another reason why I want to learn these languages. P.S. I'll give you a promising schedule so we can avoid jet lag stress. I’ve been studying Spanish for quite a few years, though not very consistently, so I still consider myself somewhat at the beginning of my learning journey. I can read simple Spanish fairly well, but I find speaking and understanding spoken Spanish much more challenging, which is why I’m hoping to find someone patient to practice with!

Hi. I'm Steve. I have a background on the creative side of the Film/TV business, both behind and in front of the camera. Over the past couple years, I have been volunteering as an English language coach for new immigrants to California. I have taken a course and earned a certification as an English Language instructor to do this -- with specialized training in pronunciation.
I hold a BA, summa cum laude, from UC Berkeley in California.
My Spanish is at a B-1 to B-2 level. My hobbies include travel, keeping fit, motorcycling (sport bike riding and track days - I am an ex-racer), and bicycling. I follow Premier League Football (aka soccer). I enjoy experiencing live music, stand up comedy and other performances, as well as seeing art on display, in person, which is always better than looking at photos of art. And of course I enjoy quality film and TV. And yes, I also enjoy reading... haha. I am now officially bored and a little embarrassed talking about myself, so I'll just stop. 🤓.
