Title: Professional Engineer Seeking Private Room — Evening Korean Lessons (2–3x/week) + Partial Rent (Irvine / Nearby)
Hello,
I am a full-time semiconductor circuit design engineer working in the Irvine area and am looking for a quiet private room. In exchange, I am offering high-level evening Korean lessons (2–3 times a week) along with a partial monthly rent contribution. No meals or extra amenities are needed—just a clean, safe place to sleep.
About Me & My Situation:
Background: Semiconductor IC Design Engineer(Ph.D)
Family & Commute: My family currently resides in San Jose while I work here in Irvine. I travel back to the Bay Area about once or twice a month on weekends to spend time with them.
Hobbies: I enjoy playing golf in my free time.
Lifestyle: A mature, reliable family man who is quiet, tidy, and deeply respectful of personal space. I work during the day, do not party or smoke, and maintain a very structured routine. Employment verification and references can gladly be provided upon request.
What I Offer:
Evening Korean Tutoring (2–3 Sessions / Week):
Flexible Schedule: Typically 2 to 3 sessions per week (~1 hour each, between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM), with full flexibility to adjust based on our mutual schedules and availability.
Native-Level Pronunciation: Step-by-step coaching to help you achieve an authentic, natural Korean accent and correct intonation.
Subtle Nuances & Context: Clear guidance on conversational subtleties, formal vs. informal speech, and cultural context rarely covered in standard textbooks.
Tailored Lessons: Customized for adult professionals, college students, or children.
Partial Rent: Happy to pay a reasonable, agreed-upon monthly contribution to help cover room use and utilities.
What I Am Looking For:
A quiet, private bedroom.
A peaceful, safe, and respectful household.
This arrangement is an ideal fit for:
Professionals, college students, or golf enthusiasts looking for low-pressure, high-quality Korean practice after work while offsetting monthly rent.
Families seeking trusted educational mentorship and authentic Korean language immersion for their children.
If this sounds like a great mutual fit, please feel free to send me a message with a brief introduction of your home. I would be glad to connect and answer any questions.
Thank you!
