G'day! I'm a conversationalist with a keen interest in language and learning. I've spent a decade at university and have degrees in Medicine, Economics, and Psychology (in that order), so I can talk about a whole range of topics, I find almost everything interesting! I'm extremely easy-going and can speak functional mandarin, but definitely need to brush up on it and work on becoming conversational. I've previously lectured English at Sichuan University so I think I'd be a good partner! Happy to accommodate any level, IELTS 5+ ideally. Do you want to talk about advanced idioms and latin roots? Exciting! Do you prefer to have general day-to-day conversation? Sure! I'll dance to the beat of your drum.

Ideally I'm looking for someone with a strong Chinese accent, as I've been told my mandarin makes me sound gay/feminine... an unfortunate result of learning mandarin in Taiwan I suppose. The locals have suggested I spend time in Beijing to learn some masculine mandarin, failing that, try to find a strong accented mandarin speaker to make a man out of me, so to speak :)
