Language.Exchange

I am a science teacher with a masters in Geology. I have many varied interests but particularly enjoy horses, animals, outdoor sports such as mountaineering, climbing, hiking, kayaking, archery etc.
Like most British people I am not particularly good with languages but I would love to be bi or multilingual. I am of Irish decent so would love to speak Gaelic. I am very interested in Russian and as I learnt some French as a child and so know enough vocabulary to read quite well in French; I think it is a good language to start with. I also have some good friends living in France whom I can practice with along with some colleagues.
The main language I have chosen to focus on first however is Italian.
