I'm Kris, I live in rural France with my husband and our German Shepherd dog. I enjoy the countryside and the freedom I'm afforded in my rural idle in south west France. I'm active; walk daily in all weathers, follow a variety of exercise classes, work in my garden and play with dog....a lot. I run 2 businesses; real estate and construction with my husband. I love my new life and my new language. Learning French is by far my biggest challenge to date; full of highs and lows. I take every opportunity to converse with my neighbours, watch films, listen to music, follow an on learning course and look forward to my weekly zoom lessons with my native French teacher - when the internet allows ! I'm missing a companion who I can speak to in a supportive and relaxed environment. Where we can help each other become competent speakers in our respective languages, develop a deeper understanding of our language and culture, and have fun in the process.
