Greetings! My name by birth is Hayley, and I am an eighteen-year-old Canadian. I am self-studying several languages currently, focusing most of my time on Chinese — but also Korean and Burmese!

With English as my mother-tongue, I am entirely fluent in the language. I am also confidently advanced in French, having learnt it since my childhood. I would say I am well-along my way in Spanish! Though I would be best able to help with English and French, I am open to helping with Spanish, too!

I am interested in a lot of things, and a self-proclaimed fanatic of all things of the science field — especially anthropology, sociology, and psychology! I am also a very creative-natured individual, and I love to engage in art and writing in my spare-time. One of my greatest interests that I pursue, is the study of other cultures! I am eager to learn all I can about cultures foreign to myself, whether the details are grand or small.

I believe that my long-standing interest in linguistics and language studies may be an additional benefit to having me as a language partner. I may be no professional teacher, but I know quite a lot! I’d be very willing to help you in your language journey in a casual, friendly, non-judgemental environment.
