SpagnoloHave lived in Oxford for a long time, work in the university in medical statistics. Frequently visit Spain & France & wish to improve my levels (intermediate French & beginner/basic Spanish). Hope one day to move south to seek sun & adventure. Apart from holidays I am into cycling, tennis & gardening. Feel I need to regularly speak to improve my language levels. Would be good to do chat English & French or Spanish to move my levels on, so would be good to meet up with someone wanting to improve their English.

I live in the UK and work as a biotech scientist.
I visited Thailand last year and fell in love with the place. I hope to be there again very soon.
I am learning how to read, speak and write Thai. I can only do so much by myself! Currently, my room is full of Thai flashcards and post-it notes.

My hobbies are video games, learning Thai and if the weather is good, running and cycling. I play some guitar as well.

As an Engineer and I spent 30 years designing MRI magnets for medical scanners as used in hospitals. The last job I had was at CERN in Geneva where I worked on the update for the Large Hadron Collider.
Since I retired 4 years ago I spend my time walking, playing squash and pickleball. I also have 4 grandchildren which keeps me (and my wife) fairly busy.
I am very fond of France and the French culture and language and can speak it reasonably well after having spent 4 years in Geneva. I want to continue to improve it and is the reason why I would like to speak with some Skype Francophones.
I would welcome a French/ English language exchange but with someone who can already speak reasonably good English.
