Hi , I'm Paul - I am an English /TEFL teacher and a part time carer in Manchester - I lived in Bangkok ( on Sathorn Soi 1 ) for 5 years between 2006 and 2018 and I know about 500 words in Thai - I love Thailand and the Thai people so much . I plan on visiting Thailand again for a few weeks every other year if I can and I would like to have better Thai - I'dlike tobe able to read and write it too .
I would be very happy to exchange Thai and English in a happy and friendly way - my hobbies are playing guitar and travelling .
Here's one of my dreams :

I want to write a book in thai and english ( literal english )
I'm gonna write a comic in thai and english ( natural / idiomatic )
Like this - but each word would be colour coded so the learner would know immediately which word was a verb or a pronoun ( etc )
It would be a cartoon too ... about great places to visit in amazing Thailand and the unique UK ... celebrating culture and humour !
Well , that's one of my dreams ...

I'm an undergrad student doing a genetics with Mandarin degree. I have been studying Mandarin for a couple of years and although I know a lot of vocabulary and characters, I still struggle with listening and speaking. I have moved to the UK when I was still a child so my English level is close to native.
