RussoI’m around a B1 level in French and close to A2 in Russian. I started learning German a year ago and recently began Spanish, as my wife and I are heading to Costa Rica next year and I want to be able to chat with people there. My goal is to gain everyday proficiency in these languages for travel and cultural experiences. I’m also passionate about technology, sustainability, classical music, reading, and staying fit and healthy. In my free time, I play classical guitar, enjoy cooking, and love getting lost in a good book.

Год назад я начал изучать немецкий, а недавно — испанский, так как в следующем году мы с женой собираемся в Коста-Рику, и я хочу общаться с местными жителями. Моя цель — освоить эти языки на повседневном уровне, чтобы путешествовать и знакомиться с культурой. Меня также интересуют технологии, устойчивое развитие, классическая музыка, чтение и забота о здоровье. В свободное время я играю на классической гитаре, люблю готовить и с удовольствием погружаюсь в чтение хорошей книги.
J'ai un niveau B1 en français et proche du niveau A2 en russe. J'ai commencé l'allemand il y a un an et l'espagnol récemment, car ma femme et moi partons au Costa Rica l'année prochaine et je souhaite pouvoir communiquer avec les Costariciens. Mon objectif est d'acquérir une aisance quotidienne dans ces langues pour voyager et profiter des expériences culturelles. Je suis également passionné par la technologie, le développement durable, la musique classique, la lecture et le bien-être physique. Pendant mon temps libre, je joue de la guitare classique, j'aime cuisiner et me plonger dans un bon livre.

**Hello! My name is Joelle. I am 13 years old and a student. I exist mostly at home (legend says I go outside sometimes).**
I love frogs. They are superior beings and I will not be debating this.
I also love dogs — actually, I love animals in general. If it has fur, scales, feathers, or vibes, I probably like it.
I have three dogs and two birds, and my house is practically overrun with lizards and a few other uninvited critters. They may not pay rent, but they are very cute, so I allow it.
My hobbies include listening to music, drawing, and professionally wasting time. I’m currently learning 24 different languages — and technically 48, because I also want to learn the sign language for each one. Yes, I know, slightly ambitious. But chaos is fun.
Learning that many sign languages might be slightly chaotic… but who needs peace when you can have ambition?
I’m paraplegic, which just means I move through life a little differently — but that won’t stop me from rolling straight through all 48 languages eventually.
I won’t be constantly online and I may not reply sometimes — either because I can't be bothered, I’m busy with exercise, travel, or hospital visits, or, let’s be honest, because I’m probably napping or pretending to be productive. The universe doesn’t revolve around my messages, apparently.
If you want to practice languages with someone determined, slightly chaotic, animal-positive, and frog-approved — hello. 👋🐸🐶
