Hi there,
I'm a mixed-heritage Brit-Hong Konger currently based in Edinburgh and looking to practise Cantonese (in person or online). I have a Cantonese tutor but am hoping to practise basic conversation with someone else more casually. In exchange, I can offer English conversation practice. I was born and raised in the UK, and I'm a writer and editor (I also used to teach English, both ESL and academic). I'm interested in reading, food, culture, dance (especially contemporary and street), language, and travel.

Hi, I am a retired bloke who has been learning Spanish for about 3 years. I like walking, keeping fit (although sometimes it's not that enjoyable), playing bridge, going out into the countryside. live music ranging from classical to heavy rock. I live with my partner. We are very lucky to live near the countryside but also close to Bristol. I would like to learn more Spanish and feel more comfortable having conversations with native Spanish speakers (from mainland Spain in Castilian dialect) who can explain my mistakes in English (where necessary), and likewise I can help them with their English. Exchange would be by video link. I am free during the day and some evenings, and maybe we could talk once a week or every fortnight (no pressure).

I am am retired and I am trying to improve my Spanish ,studying Castilian
at the moment .I need to start speaking more now as at probably B1 level.
I enjoy walking as I live in the country side in the UK also reading sport galleries.I have had an association with Spain the Valencia region for 20 years and have owned various properties there, but only recently started to really pay attention to the language.Hopefully I can help someone with their English as I improve my Spanish.
