Hi everyone!
I moved from Korea to Winnipeg about six months ago. I speak both Korean and English, and I also majored in Spanish at university. But since I’ve forgotten a lot of it over time, I’d really love to practice again. I’ve noticed there are quite a few people here whose first language is Spanish, but even if it isn’t your native language and you’re also learning, that’s totally fine—I think it would be great to practice together.

I am a high school math teacher living in Canada. I have a passion for golf, travel, fitness, family and dogs.
I am a native English speaker born to Italian parents (mom - from Sicily dad - from Calabria). I heard the Calabrian dialect, as well as Sicilian growing up and understood them quite well but never spoke it. As an adult I took it upon myself to learn Italian, mostly from books, podcasts and some audio apps/programs. I am around a b2 level, and understand it very well but still struggle to speak fluently, without pausing.
About five years ago I decided to learn Greek. My level is perhaps only an upper beginner to early intermediate level, estimated to be perhaps b1. I do have a rather large vocabulary in Greek, and have spent a lot of time learning words and some grammar rules but I do not have much experience with speaking it.
I would love to practice with others at a similar level to me so that we can help each-other out and remove the stress associated with speaking a new language. Italian or Greek, I'm always eager for the opportunity to practice. Alternatively, if someone is a local, I would be glad to help them speak english.
