I'm a designer, former photographer. I've traveled a lot, and lived in France for many years. In addition to French and English, I have a little German and Italian. I enjoy learning languages for the fun of it, and I really like being able to read literature in the original language. My main leisure activities are cooking, movies, reading, looking at art, strolling in the city, conversations with friends. For the purposes of conversation, it's been my plan to learn Spanish for some time, especially living in NYC! Finally, I'm getting around to making the time for it.
I'm happy to exchange English or French for Spanish.

Hello, I am Ana, and now I'm living in the USA.
I'm looking for a partner to practice and improve English.
The things I like to do are reading, listening to music (metal, rock, post-punk and soundtracks), walking around the city and learning about other cultures (by the way, I enjoy watching movies and TV shows, but unfortunately, nowadays I do not have time for that).
I would be happy to help you with Spanish in exchange.

Kind of sad to hear about SharedTalk and HelloLingo going offline as I met some really amazing people on those platforms. But anyway I'm glad you found me here!
If anyone else out there stuck in quarantine needs someone to talk to about whatever, I'm around. Whichever language is fine.

Hello!/Salut!
My name is Melanie. I'm 22 years old born in New York to Romanian parents. I grew up learning English at school and Romanian at home. I am fluent in both but I would like conversationally continue practicing Romanian as my daily activities involve me speaking solely English and I don't want to lose my fluency in the language. In addition, I took Spanish for 7 years in middle and high school so I can speak it conversationally. I am slowly picking up Russian as well!
I work as an emergency medical technician on an ambulance in addition to being a full time student. I'd like to be able to speak multiple languages with patients in addition to with friends. I think that culture can tie people together. I also work as a graphic designer remotely in Canada and am an avid hockey fan. :)

I'm born and raised in New York City, but my family is from Hong Kong.
I work for a financial corporation in New York and I have visited Hong Kong several times for leisure.
I speak very basic Cantonese. I would like to improve my Cantonese, including reading and writing Cantonese; I'm only interested in traditional characters.
I am very interested in Hong Kong politics and am pro-democracy. I support Joshua Wong, etc. I would love to meet people with the same opinions, who can also teach me Cantonese.
In exchange, I can teach you English as I'm a native speaker.
Thanks for your time.
